Poets Notebook


 
 
I am not a poet but when I saw this notebook a few years back I had to have it. It is the place where I can collect quotes or passages that I find inspiring.  I then decorate it with pictures that resonate with me.  It is one of the places I turn to when I need inspiration.

    What a great idea. I have tons of notebooks abandoned after a few days of doing this or that, but I never dedicated one to that purpose alone. I feel like I might try it!

      It took me a long time to finally begin putting things in the notebook. Sounds silly but I wanted it to be 'right'. I found a quote on the butterfly and all the changes it goes through to become the beautiful creature that it is. I knew that is where I'd start. I've enjoyed it ever since and keep it by my desk.

    Very creative! I used to fill one with song lyrics and paste in emails that I got from friends :)

    Dear Faithful Visitor: I love checking A to Z and finding you there. I feel we are friends and I'd like to visit you in person. Or maybe not. Reading earlier posts: I am touched by your creative daughter in the Principal and the Giant Butterfly; Love delicious whimsy of Frank; I, too, explain out-of-date terms to my grandkids and even middle-aged kids.     Hi Jai(catching up...I was out of town). I like this a lot. We need places to deposit our ideas. I carry a small notebook in my purse.
