Orion, how I loath thee.

It is nothing personal mind you it is just....

I walk my pup in the wee hours of the mornings and I do enjoy looking up at the stars that light pollution has not obliterated.  However, this is one constellation I  don't enjoy seeing and I saw it the other night.

Orion - the harbinger of fall.
Fall - the harbinger of winter.
Winter - that freaking season of snow.

Orion = Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Orion, oh how I loath thee.

  3. Stop your bad karma! I'm living in the miserable south, and I'm counting down the days until this ridiculous humidity is gone! (Of course, I was raised in Idaho, so I have cold-love in my veins!)

    1. Yes, Idaho has more snow. I always feel like Ned Stark. Winter's Coming, Winter's Coming, Winter's Coming. After the Summer Solstice I say, "It's all down hill from here."

  4. I know. I know. The geese are camping out in the field behind my house on their way south. It sucks.

    1. When I first moved into this house there was a huge farm a few blocks over where they raised corn. The geese would come from all over to partake. I love the sound of them over head.
