I can do what?

I am going to do the A-Z Challenge this April.  I still have no clue what I'm going to write about, but when I read this on the A-Z Blog it made me do the happy dance.

Preschedule your posts now, so you can focus on comment love in April. Even if you can't be online during some of April, that's no reason to be discouraged.

Blogging, as you know, takes a lot of time. Even my little ramblings can take an hour or so.  I write it.  Think about it. Preview. Change it.  Think some more. Preview.  Change it again.  Preview. Decide it is final.  Preview. Spell check.  Publish.  View blog.  Find a mistake. Fix it. View blog.

Blogging 26 days in April seemed daunting.  It is also a blog hop with a chance to make new friends and find new blogs. Reading blogs also takes a lot of time.  I wondered how I was going to be able to do it. I know, I know, I signed up for a Challenge not the A-Z Piece of Cake, but I was starting to get worried.  Being able to get the posts done before April is totally awesome.

Now I just need to think of something to write about.

  1. This is my third year doing the challenge and this year I want to try to do a theme. Hopefully that will make it easier than the ramblings I did previous years.
    Good luck.

  2. I am sure you will find the right things to write about for the A-Z challenge. I actually haven't signed up yet, but I will eventually, once I figure out a strategy. I tend to spend a lot of time on my blog posts as well, as I want them to be perfect and in true me, fashion, I pick up on a few spelling mistakes after I published it anyway, even though I did use spell check. Best of luck to you and your writing.

    1. I know what you mean about finding typo's after the fact. Some times I find them several posts later. {{blushes}} Spelling is not my strong suit.

  4. I pre-schedule posts all the time, so it's definitely very handy when it comes to the A-Z Challenge. Themes also make it easier too. :)

    1. I will definately have to come up with a theme. Maybe input and ideas that I'm gathering as I try to figure out the whole 'novel' thing.

It will be fun to see what other bloggers come up with. April seems a long time away. ;)

  5. I agree with finding a theme, although I'm new to blog hops too. A seasoned blog-writer friend tipped me early that I needed to schedule my posts way in advance. It's the 'sanest' of approaches. I'll be back to see how you do :) Hang in there!
